CHATTR TERMS OF SERVICE
Effective Date: April 10, 2026
1. Eligibility
To use Chattr, you must meet the following requirements:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have full legal capacity to enter into binding agreements.
- Not be prohibited from using the Platform under applicable law.
2. Account Registration
To access core features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and maintain the security of your credentials. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- You may not share accounts.
- You may not create multiple accounts to evade restrictions.
- You may not impersonate another individual.
3. Platform Nature & Role
Chattr is a technology platform that facilitates direct paid interactions between users (“Fans”) and verified content providers (“Creators”).
- Chattr does not create user content.
- Chattr does not guarantee earnings or user engagement.
- Chattr is not a party to transactions beyond facilitating payment processing.
- Creators act as independent contractors, not employees of Chattr.
4. User Content
You retain ownership of content you upload. By posting content, you grant Chattr a worldwide license to host, distribute, and promote the content solely for operating the Platform.
- You represent that you own or have rights to the content.
- All individuals depicted must be 18+.
- The content must not violate law or third-party rights.
5. Payments & Financial Terms
All financial interactions on the platform are governed by the following terms:
A. Transactions
Fans may purchase access to content including paid messages, locked media, calls, and tips. Chattr charges a platform service fee on all transactions.
B. Payment Processing
All payments are processed by third-party providers. Chattr is not responsible for processing delays, processor holds, or banking issues.
C. Chargebacks & Fraud
If a chargeback or fraud claim occurs, earnings may be withheld and accounts may be suspended pending investigation. Chattr reserves the right to recover losses.
6. Payouts to Creators
Creators are responsible for their own tax reporting and must comply with identity verification. Payouts may be subject to minimums and compliance holds.
7. Prohibited Conduct
Violation of these rules may result in immediate termination and legal reporting:
- Using the Platform for unlawful purposes.
- Exploiting or harassing other users.
- Circumventing payment systems.
- Recording or redistributing paid content without permission.
- Engaging in trafficking, coercion, or exploitation.
- Uploading content involving minors.
8. Account Suspension & Termination
Chattr may suspend or permanently terminate accounts for policy violations, fraud risk, or legal compliance at its sole discretion.
9. Intellectual Property
Chattr owns all rights to the Platform software, branding, and design. Users may not copy or reverse engineer any part of the Platform.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform is provided “as is.” We make no guarantees regarding continuous availability, revenue generation, or user behavior.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chattr's total liability shall not exceed the greater of $250 USD or the total fees paid to Chattr in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to hold harmless Chattr from any claims arising from your content, your conduct, or your violation of these Terms.
13. Dispute Resolution
Before legal action, you agree to attempt good-faith resolution. Governing Law: State of Wyoming. Venue: Courts located in Wyoming.
14. Privacy
Your use of the Platform is also governed by the Chattr Privacy Policy.
15. Modifications
Chattr may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
